The following information and links should answer most of your questions about our Ferry County area and might even entice you to come for a “look-see.” According to County statistics, Ferry County is approximately 2257 square miles. With approximately 7260 total population, that averages about 3.3 persons per square mile making it the least densely populated county in Washington State. Now that’s “elbow room!”
If you have never been to visit then you must come and find out what you have been missing. If you have fished the peaceful Kettle River River for salmon and steelhead or hooked trout and bass from Curlew Lake or any of our other countless lakes, you already love Ferry County. Come again and take in the wide open spaces of grassy valleys. Inhale fresh mountain air of the pine-scented forests as you stretch out in some of Eastern Washington’s last frontier.
